Unaccountably I think there are still tickets. Surprised this year's intake haven't snapped them up. Seems like they've not been pimping it on the UEA box-office site for some reason - hasn't been visible on the front page any of the times I've looked.

Still, I'm sure it'll still be packed and to be honest wouldn't care if it wasn't - tea and cake and a jolly good knees up will be had.

Seems like a lot of people get pain in one knee riding fixed. I figure this is down to the fact that most people have one leg longer than the other? When you got your bike fit done Sparkes, did they suggest orthotics or anything?

Well I won't miss having a bike the wrong size.. but yeah, I'll miss it.. Thinking about Cyclescheme again anyway so I won't miss having a fast bike for long.

The Ribble is on the way out, so I've got a few bob to spend on some bits and pieces. First up is a new wheelset for the Steamroller. At the moment I'm thinking all black, Goldtec hubs, w/ Velocity Fusion front and B43 rear. Going to have to get a new seatpost as the Deda one is going with the Ribble, so a Thomson one to match the stem will be coming my way. Also going to pick up some 28 or 32mm Randonneurs to make myself a bit more weatherproof. It's going to feel like a new bike.

If there's any change left over it'll be going on the Raleigh. Looking for a nice early 90s Shimano groupset, preferably Dura Ace - although quite like the look of the 600 Tricolor too (which would match the headset already on the frame).

Anyone got a spare front wheel I could use for a week or so? Mine is horribly out of true, the brake has started to bind on it..

On the off-chance.. Has anyone got a Steamroller F&F that's a touch too big for them that they'd be interested in swapping for one that's a touch too small for me?

Other than the usual signs of use, the bike is in VGC, never been crashed and the paint is immaculate. Lovely light, fast bike and less than a year old - but a few centimetres too small for me, hence the sale.
