That's fucking bullshit. There's nothing in the rules that says what the monthly rental costs have to be. They should reduce the monthly payment so that they cover 75% of the cost, then the final payment should make it up to 100%.

The BC website is fucking fail. It doesn't recognise the membership number which is printed on my membership card, so is not letting me see the password for the TM booking screen.

The SS Tricross is a great bike, as long as it has V brakes on the front rather than (early model) stock cantis. Plenty were sold about 3 years ago, and they now change hands for £200 or so. I bought mine for £250, sold it a year later for £240.
My knees were a bit weak for SS at the time so it was not to be. Now I'm in the process of stripping my hybrid back to SS, I wish I hadn't sold it.

Archos 101 tablet is now running
2.3another iteration of 2.2 thanks to a stock FW update. Seems a bit speedier through the homescreens, but still generally a bit slow. Might have a look into a new launcher to speed things up more. -

Liking it so far, shame it doesn't let you chuck Swype on there but I'll probably try that Thumb app someone posted up there ^...Swype is running fine on mine. Same process as getting it on the phone.

'The business' - we have people in our company that use this in the context of 'The business expects that growth in Q4 will be....' People use this on their out of office / voicemail: 'I am on annual leave today and will return to the business tommorow....'
This would not be so bad but using 'The Business' takes longer than using our company name.

Bollocks to that. Wear any old black suit, black shoes, and white shirt. Buy a thin tie from M&S and some shiny cufflinks. Nobody will notice you anyway, so don't break the bank.

Mine's definitely an 8Gb, with the sticker behind the stand confirming it. The SD card slot is empty, and comes up as a separate drive in the file system.

The 101 is still on sale at Leadenhall, as is the 7" for 120. The 7 has 2.3.1 loaded as stock.

The main issue with it is viewing angle. I get a bit of a headache from reading comics, as it's not possible to get a consistent image in portrait mode. I've read somewhere that a screen protector helps with this. That's on my list of must buys.
App tip: The tTorrent client is very good; built in search from various sites, and runs very quick.

@hippy - so is Urukdroid based on Gingerbread or Froyo? Also the Archos support page currently has firmware v 2.4.65 (Dated 20th October) - what version of Android is that?
The Archos firmware is based on 2.2. I wouldn't hold my breath for 3.0 or 4.0 from Archos on the 101. They will probably have new tablets specifically for ICS.

Using stock on the GS2 Android 2.3.4, with the built in Swype (version 3.23.89.29564.29696.2852.0XX), I can select either word with a single click and it selects the whole word, with the cursor moving to the start of the word. What is the expected behaviour?
