I’ve got a two or three mandarin stone Chicago storm lying around I want rid of if you go that way. Not enough to be useful on their own, but handy for spares or something?

Instead of printing out, signing, scanning, emailing back I just scanned my signature instead and superimposed it on the supplied documents then sent everything back saved as PDFs. Conveyancer and mortgage people both happy so far. Felt a bit weird, but either way they're getting an image of a signature.

Not yet I’m afraid, too poor to replace it with anything I’d find more fun and I’m not going diesel. Reckon I’ve got another year or two with it, want to nudge it past 50k. Once we’ve moved my need for a motorway chugger will be fully negated (instead of pandemic part-negated) as there won’t actually be any motorways between us and our destinations.

I used H E Olby because local. Got 2 hours of 1-on-1 wandering round and suggestions and plenty of wiggle on the prices, plus a nose at the premises which had piqued my curiosity every time I rode past it.

Totally. No judgement! It’s just scary when the total is spat out after the fun bit of deciding what you want.
We’re in the process of buying a much-abused 1920s four-bed, with a horrible bolted on extension and a floor plan that makes no sense (clear windows from downstairs shower room into family room, lolwut?). I’ve envelope doodled it into something useful, but it’s a lot of faff for not much extra sq/ft. Hopefully it’ll be a 20-year house so I’m keen to do it properly, but despite a general reluctance to compromise I can only dream of it being done 300k properly. As we’re now out of London I’m at least optimistic that the builder costs will be lower than what I’m used to, but it’s still levelling and rebuilding a 10x4m single-storey extension, stretching out the two-storey extension to something that’s actually usable and knocking some internal walls. Going to be messy. I’m looking forward to having a nice chat with a professional once I’m holding the keys.

None of those look to be Homekit compatible, but there's an identical looking one by refoss that is?! only slightly questionable.
