There’s a good FF ownership thread on pistonheads I read yesterday. Fresh from the dealer the car required 7k of work. Also a pic of it alongside his own van (they’re the same length) and some ‘tip run in a Ferrari’ pics.
I think you would ‘enjoy’ Ferrari ownership. We transferred our house money to solicitor last week so one is now no longer purchasable with my available funds, probably for the best.

In 2012 we took the tandem within 5k of this wonderful place. Not a valuable thread contribution, but funny how it goes. It was part of a day that was 160k entirely uphill and tarmac-bubblingly hot, and I had a life changing burger from a tiny little shack in Chalus (wooden goose outside, FOIE GRAS writ large across its belly). I remember it quite vividly. Lovely part of the world.

Avoid Robinson Jackson like the plague. Valued us 60k under what we sold for, refused to entertain the notion of the house being worth any more despite every other agent being spot on (besides the jokers at KFH going 'get the custom' high). Completely ignorant of the area despite being an historically local agency, talked a lot of shit peppered with covid denialism and a bit of casual misogyny. Couldn't wait to get him out of the house. We sold through JDM blackheath (who approached us!), and we found them excellent. Lowest fees, genuinely nice agent, good office staff. Reeds Rains were our second choice, but the fees swung us – they were .2/3 % higher IIRC. Stanfords seems alright, bit pushy.

I didn't take one before we sold! Really wish I had. Pull cord switch thing mounted to the outside of our light tunnel, screw on eyelet thing on a joist to get the cord in position over the room, hole through the ceiling with tiny tube glued in place in the hole, shiny washer over opening end for extra pretty. Although thinking about it maybe we didn't go with a washer as the tube was thick enough to be a gentle feature. Does that explain it? Otherwise I'll do a (dire) drawing. It was a relatively simple fix to get a really clean result, thought it was a good bodge.
any more detail on this?
