Anyone have any money debited by midnight last night?
'Locog said 60% of cards would be debited by midnight on Wednesday, the "vast majority" by 31 May, and the process completed by 10 June.'
Nothing yet.
I reckon that means that if you asked for an under subscribed event, the cash will come out of your account. If you went for something popular you gona have to wait in the raffle barrel with the million who want 100m tickets

If they use MS office as part of their day job go into Auto correct options in word or powerpoint (Word options/Proofing/auto correct opitions /”replace txt when you type box”) and set random common words (or names used by them regularly) to update automatically as they type.
You can be as subtle or as crude as you like – setting it to change “the” to “then” is simple and annoying or setting something like Dear “Boss” to become Dear “f**kface” for something with more impact

18” Carrera Subway- Free –Its sat rusting away in our yard, feel free to take the whole bike (preferred) or strip any bits you might need for a beater – It would need one new tyre two new tubes and some love to get it running again.
Langster wheels £50 – A set of stock Langster wheels (From the 2008 model) complete with the 16 tooth freewheel plus a 16 tooth fixed gear cog. These are dirty, have at least one loose spoke (But still run true) Free tyres (but the back has just about had it tbh – Oh and I’m keeping the innertubes)
ITM stem - £5 posted - Black ITM stem reg (25.6mm) clamp with a worn sticker from *m.f following a critical mass this time last year. Unsure of length as i could find a ruler in the house estimate it 100mm(ish)
Front brake -£5 posted - Dual pivot forged alloy with cartridge multi-condition pads (That’s what Evans says this is (its of the 2008 Langster) – However the multi-condition pads brake pads are just about shot – you will need new ones)
**Steatpost **- £10 Posted- Specialized carbon fibre wrapped. 27.2mm. Used, lots of scraches, but the top half looks OK)
Ahead Spacers – Free - 10mm and two 5mm alloy spacers
Seat Clamp - Free
Crank bolts – Free
Charge bowl drop bars - £12 Posted - Used still has the original white tape (that’s not that white anymore) scratches from the clamp and brakes, no end plugs
Andel Cranks - £30 (£34 posted)– Box new and unused – 165mm 46 teeth
Cork plus** bar tape **- £4 posted - Box new and unused – its yellow btw
**Charge Bull horns **- - £12 Posted – Used – I’ll take the tape of the remaining side as its useless to the buyer left on.
OnOne 18t Cog - £5 (or swap for 19t) - new and unused
**Cinelli Stem **- £8 posted – used (not polished) its long I’m guessing 120mm, I can’t measure it at the moment (See above re lack of ruler) 99% sure it’s the older 26.4mm clamp size too.
Unbranded ahead converter - - £8 posted
All items in SW18 (or SW15 9-5 Mon-Fri)
Dibs followed by PMs welcomed – Paypal for Postal items. Cash on collection for the others (I’ll knock a £1 off for posted items collected in person (£2 off for the bars, £4 off for the cranks)
(Photos to follow)

Thanks for the ride, bailed at Putney as i was too close to home and decide to retire before the clocks changed.
Highlights for me were the circles at the Tate (Nice photos) and the tunnel at Albert Bridge
Thought the traffic in town wasnt as bad as previous night rides (I dont remember seeing any arsehole drivers in central london this time) maybe the march help keep the traffic down?

Take the frame to a friendly lbs - mine had a selection of old posts to try and find the right size (I measured it with callipers at home, but they insisted I came back with the frame)
I was talking to them about the seatpost-sizing rods mentioned by Sheldon and they didn’t rate them as they don’t go down far enough to get an accurate reading -
It not cycling related but this has a great discription, and is for a good cause:

Why, when I tighten the bolt on my cinelli stem does it not grip my cinelli bars properly?
What can I do, shim? There appears to be no rubber insert that I assume should be there (familiarity with cinelli stem shown there).
Is it an Older Cinelli? If so it could be 26.4mm
Cinelli changed over to 26.0 mm in 1998 according to the bike god...

I'll be listing a wheelset next week once I've finish my new build, if you’re willing to wait another week (Providing the final parts turn up this week)
They are originally from a 2008 Langster. They have done a fair few miles, not cleaned(or serviced) in ages, have the odd loose spoke (But still run true), complete with 16t fixed/free cogs.
Pm me if you are interested in first refusal

My girlfirend is after a new phone. We spent an hour this afternoon in Carphonewarehouse, her first question to the 15 year old sales guy was "I want a phone like an iPhone but not an iPhone" ...
I think We have narrowed it down to a HTC desire and the Galaxy S. Any opinions or alternatives before i spend her money for her?
I liked the Galaxy - If i didnt have an iPhone I'd be tempted by one

One more uninteresting stat from the data know that I've worked out how to map the data.
There is an East West divide when looking at average journey time. The stations round the edge also have longer trip time on average.

Watched 127 hours last night, Loved it, quite gory. My girlfriend had to watch parts with here eyes shut (She still like it though)
Found this interesting article by Aron Ralston about the film when i got home (Spoiler alert - don’t click on the link if you don’t want to know anything about the film before watching it, However if you know something about the story I guess you will know what its all about so it wont really spoil it)

4 beach volleyball tickets are the only possible combination for the money that’s come out my account.
I now have to explain to my other half that she wont be going to something cultural.
