Any idea what tubing this is? I assume 725. One of my close pals might be interested but imo £500 is a bit much considering the dent, paint is cracked, mis match of parts etc. this is based on what I've seen sell on ebay and the likes but ultimately it is a Roberts. Just my 2p so anyone else feel free to correct me

How have you inspected it? You won’t really know unless you try and thread another headset down the fork threads and compare them. If it threads in tighter than the one that keeps on coming undone then you know the threads are prob worn.
I would use a thinner spacer on the fork and see if that helps at all

Threads are prob gone on either the headset or the fork. Alternatively the crown race might be incorrect size, too big for fork crown which causes movement which in my experience can then lead to headset loosening off. Maybe the bearings could be the wrong size but this is prob unlikely.
I love 1” threaded headsets and when installed correctly and without issues will last for years.

My pal confessed to me that she lost her bike in the summer.
Its a Ribble made from Reynolds 653 with Cinelli lugs, painted in a slightly pearlescent white. Black Ribble decals on seat tube and silver on the downtube. Drive side internal routing.
Shimano 105 headset, bit notchy from what I remember, Cinelli 1a Stem to Giro Di Italia bars I think. Light Grey bartape. White hoods Shimano 105.
Full Shimano 7 speed 1055 groupset from what I remember, downtube shifters. Silver Mavic MA Rims and standard black tyres. Triple 105 crankset.
Apparently my friend left it outside a Panda Oriental Islington, between Clissold and Newington Green early september while on shrooms... le sigh.
Here it is before we switched the bar tape up

If anyone has picked it up I would happily compensate them for a safe return.
Alternatively if you have seen it around or for sale please shoot me a pm.
Thanks

I hate ebay sometimes.
Some people aka sellers of bikes and parts need to seriously do more to explain conditions of items in an honest manner. This to me means not just saying "great, amazing or brilliant condition". Returning stuff is long, but then when the item arrives sellers shouldn't be surprised when I message them saying that isn't as described because there is internal rust/cracks/other bullshit.
FML.
Looks more like you'd be happy to sell for £75
