It's not rubbish, I had one and found it to be decent,... but for someone going for 120 quid rims,
thinking of a Phil BB and whatnot, I'd get my priorities straight.
But there you are, I prioritize BB and Headset over everything else.*Obviously these are my priorities.
;) Good Build.
Cheers for the comments guys, take your points. I'll probs get it ready for the road first, with the Tange and then see how I go, a Chris King would definitely top it off. Saving for Phil hubs from Hubjub at the mo too. Not sure on seatpost yet, but would be dangerous to kick off another seatpost debate on here!

Not my build nor my business, but for such a non-budget set-up, why
not splashing some of your cash moneys on a better Headset? And which BB are you going for, out of curiosity, please?Hi, no worries, it's the pricier LV1500 NJS one, which I had left over from another project, it's nothing top of the range obviously, but decent quality as far as I've heard. Not sure about BB yet, but was thinking of Sugino 75 or Phil. Any other recommendations always welcome

Saw an asian bloke riding a stunning Merckx on Guildford Street yesterday, if you're on here, that Merckx is a thing of beauty, just don't try and jump a red light when the peds is about to cross the road, bad form.

He's currently locked up in LMNH
Have seen him around too, is indeed a lovely bike. I heard he brought it over from Jakarta where him and his mates found an abandoned velodrome with a store room full of 80s Merckx frames. Maybe a tall tale...but if true, awesome

Hello. Who are you? Did we speak?
Which wheels? I inquired about the debadged Zipps, not sure if they are or not.
My wheels were parked outside, green frame with orange wheels, bit of a beater, you were just heading off as I arrived, will say hello next time, was wearing a red tshirt - only took a guess it was you from descriptions on here and your avatar! Fingers crossed those wheels are for sale, the zipps look great, always think the massive logos are just pretty tasteless

Not sure I'd pop my kids in the front of one on London streets though!

more ss madness this morning, a light blue On One on Waterloo Bridge which from what I could see had a perfectly functioning cantilever back brake...apart from the fact that it had been unhooked, rendering it useless. Fair enough..if it's broken, get it fixed, if you've done that on purpose then maybe think about fixing your head, or preparing to do so in future!
oh and a friendly looking group of three riders on kennington road, not looking in a rush to get to work, hello there!
