I don't actually find BLB over-priced, though it seems many do. Now some Condor prices I would consider to be at a premium. Yet I've been willing to pay those too, thanks to the sound, non-hard-selling advice I've received there. That's besides the fact that some of Condor's stuff, and not just when on sale, is very competitively priced. Both shops will have my custom again.
Sorry to hear about Bicycle Magic, it would be instructive to know why their business plan failed.

Cheers to the replies - might start that Duell thread myself, once I have something more useful to discuss about Duells. Given I have only the handlebar tape left to finish my build, that might not take too long. Would be really embarrassing if Skully, starting from the bare frame, beats me to it...

PS. the link to the Duell Passion frames at http://bikesales4u.com/ is broken.

Anyone interested please let me know.
I'm not a Facebook fan, but a thread like this couldn't hurt - http://www.lfgss.com/thread2960.html
Just putting the final touches to my own first classic/modern mix Duell build - the test rides so far have been great!

In Campers, Brashers (casual shoe brands I use) and Asics sports shoes size 45 fits me fine. WIth Shimano cycling shoes I needed 46.
But to avoid repeating the buyer's remorse I experienced in spades with this purchase, I went to Condor, tried on shoes recommended by the salesman for someone with wide feet, disregarding brand name and appearance, and cycled off happily in Northwaves (size 45). A much wider shoe than others at that size, and nothing like as light or as solid an attachment to the pedal as the Sidis (which technically are superb), but at least now I don't think about or notice the fit while cycling.
So as I warned in my original post - Be sure you know this is the size you want!
