Nice unusual bike for you guys. Its an SR Sakae Litage which is a lovely aluminium bike from back in the day, comparable to Vitus or Alan, topped of with a very nice Campagnolo Veloce groupset.

The frame is in great condition apart from some crazing on the anodizing of the headtube. Top feature is the wishbone seatstays, love it.

Campagnolo Veloce group is all good with just a slight tear to the left hood and a few marks on the left crank arm slightly detracting from the overall condition.

Blue tyres and saddle are new as is the chain. The bike has had a full strip, rebuild and service.

Sold these on eBay for £80 but I failed to notice the ends of the bars had been cut off (about 25mm) so the buyer returned them for a full refund.

So back up on offer here for £60 posted.

Personally I think that's a good price. Wheels and frame would fetch good money on their own, I'm actually quite tempted to buy it just for the wheels.

Withdrawing this from sale as I'd hate for someone to have an accident as a result of riding something that I had sold them.

I'm not forcing anyone to buy it and have been completely honest.

Took another look over it and found a slight dent in the rim too, perhaps the result of a pot hole, it is only slight but very likely the cause of the cracks.

I would say that any crack in a rim would be structual however I've ridden rims with cracks around the spoke nipples for very many miles.

It's entirely upto you whether you're willing to ride it or not.

I'll offer the buyer a "3 month money back guarantee" if the rim fails, upon return of the failed wheel.

As I said Sheathy has first dibs.

Incidentally I do have some 7 speed Sora shifters but they're not for swaps. £60 posted.

It's a Mike Burrows Giant MCR wheel. Rear only Shimano cassette fitting 8 speed+.

Looks alright but when giving it a clean I found 2 small cracks around the spokes. Was asking £60 posted but will let it go for £50 posted because of the cracks.

It's not so much that because you just adjust the limit screws but as far as I know the spacing of 7 and 8 speed are different so it won't sit in gear properly. I could be wrong of course as adroit says it works...

Does that mean anything to anyone?
