Cool man,
I'm not trying to put you off i swear, just make sure you cover all the angles before you drop that cash on them. Sounds like you can do it so i'll shut up now. I'm in the same boat atm, eyeing up a tandem i can afford, just means it'll be a lean month next month...
Oh, and maybe get measured up by a few different people/shops so you don't end up with a tiny frame(like i sounds 1 or 2 people have ended up with).
Good luck, and if theres not vimeo footage of you doing truckdrivers down 10 sets on day 1 i'll be very disappointed ;)yeah.
if i do it'll mean nothing nice to eat for a while but you know, that's life.
and as too the truckdrivers down 10 sets...
well i guess i'd better get practising -

Fuck me thats expensive!
Think carefully about what you're gonna be doing for the next couple of years, you def gonna be able to pay it each month?
Personally i wouldn't buy a luxury like a bike frame on credit. Save up before hand and drop a stack of cash on them and it'll feel even better.Hope you enjoy yer frame
Yeah I Have 350ish pounds and am getting an £75ish from my holiday job. I think i will be able to pay most of it off. I will think really hard though

Fujiboy, ESB's are designed for serious abuse, and are probably way more hardcore than you need, for people like Ted and Odge who do stuff that some people would think twice about doing on a bmx let alone on a fixed.
Frames like the Volume Cutter are still really good (thats what I used to ride dontcha know!), I would say get a Cutter, and if you ever develop the balls or skills to start doing stuff big enough to break one of those..... well then you're probably good enough for 14 to chuck an ESB your way for free and sponsor you :)Oh and Porter, my brother from another mother....
Ride the wheels until they break, then get some beefy fuckers with wider tyres, try some wider bars (you have no idea what an awesome improvement this is for tricks), maybe some stronger pedals, but steer clear of going the micro-drive bmx style drivetrain route, this is a lot of extra stress on components on a fixed, you will fuck hub bearings really quickly, destroy BB bearings quickly, and chains/chainrings will wear out in no time at all, not worth the hassle on fixed IMO.Oh yeah and get a 24 inch bike sorted, once you do your fixed will probably get relegated back to transport duties quickly enough and the odd bit of fun here and there ;)
very true.
and that blue volume cutter v3 is pretty darn sexy -

Its called the ESB, and you might wanna find out the price before you carry on "considering", as the frame and fork are likely to be well over the £500 mark considering it uses a mix of Reynolds 853 and 631, as well as a BB shell and headtube made from a steel alloy thats tougher than T45.
I've had a ride of one, and its pretty much the best trick frame out there for fixed, plus the build quality/materials used are way beyond what other manufacturers are doing right now IMO.Very nice bit of kit, but not cheap.
I used to tide bmx and want to go similar style but fixed.
I'm prepared to spend what is needed to guarantee it won't bust on me. -
