Camden Road's got a few nasty spots, there's obviously the bus lane that cars are constantly turning left through, but there's also a few 1-2ft long potholes with deceptively smooth sides, no cracks or anything, just an unnanounced wheel-swallowing abyss.

I bought some truly truly shit toeclips, in a week they've snapped in two places, ripped up my converse, and some bolts have fallen out.

£8 well spent.

On the way home last night after watching QI filming, I crossed the nightmarish Tottenham Court road X Euston Road lights and started up Hampstead road up to Camden.

Cue some cunt in a blue Peugot deciding to pull a U turn from parked right into me, over the bonnet I go and hit the pavement teeth first.

I immediately get up and bang on his window. Cunt looks me in the fucking eye and drives off.

I dragged my bike with tacoed front wheel to the pavement and happily about 5 people saw the whole thing, called po po/ambulance for me, agreed on cunt's liscence plate etc. Big big thanks to them.

All's well apart from some facial road rash and smashed front teeth which the good people at Parkway Dental have started fixing for me.

Thanks to this forum and epsecially the accident thread here I knew to get all the names/phone numbers/jobs of all witnesses, I know how to handle the police moving forward, and I've already managed to replace my wheel thanks to Owen at Cavendish.

So that's it really, if anyone here has any more advice, or by chance happened to see it then do let us know.

Oh and any tips on how to stop my fucking teeth hurting also appreciated.
