Anyone know anything about The Little Tea Shop? Specifically, is it any good, and is it open on a Sunday?
Used to go there a fair bit, was alright but nothing special. Worth a visit anyway

I'm looking at http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=uk+topographic+map&rls=com.microsoft:en-gb:IE-SearchBox&oe=&rlz=&redir_esc=&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x25a3b1142c791a9:0xc4f8a0433288257a,United+Kingdom&gl=uk&t=p&ei=XRYOT9jjDNG4hAfJ5L27BA&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=image&resnum=1&ved=0CCUQ8gEwAA
and thinking it looks horrendously hilly. Am I the only person who thinks headwind+hills+12 miles more than a century=a lot of hard work? What would Jens do?

This sounds good. Is there a handy sustrans or ctc route that joins the two? who's got ctc membership and can search their routes?
I think so, I have a cycle network map, can't remember what number though
Train back is a bit of an anticlimax as youre stuck in a cramped seat after giving your legs a battering

I have too many fucking WHEELS!
Please buy the things off me before I have to eBay them to make room in my shed...- 7 speed Rigida rear wheel, black rim, spokes & hub, with cassette, tyre and tube £15
- Rigida front 'Nova' front QR wheel, black rim with silver spokes and hub £10
- Alex front QR wheel, black rim, silver hub & spokes £10
- Formula front wheel with black 30mm deep rim, blach hub with sealed cartridge bearings, solid 10mm axle. £15 (SOLD)
- Formula rear flip flop wheel, matching the above front wheel. Has an 18t freewheel and fixed sprocket that I can't remove with my puny underdeveloped arm muscles. £15 (SOLD)
- Pair of Shimano R500 wheels, all black with bladed spokes. Rear has a fairly worn braking surface on the rim, and the wear indicator is gone. Use at your peril! Front is far less worn and still has the wear indicator. £20 for both, or £15 for just the front one.
Photos on request. PM please, so I get an email notification

^ They were scared of you lot & rightly so.
The Birmingham event is on....Thursday 23rd, Spotted Dog, Digbeth and Red Kite Cycles are sponsoring.
Thomas, you will just have to miss footy that night, it is an inferior sport anyway [/endlie]
is there a facebook event for this?

Do a few sessions on the rollers though and see what difference it makes, I went from mid pack to very fast through by doing short intervals on a turbo. I can get it back* fairly quickly too with a week or two's worth of TT sessions.
- Not at the moment as I am recovering from a discectomy op & I can barely walk let alone cycle yet.........soon though.
I normally do 30sec spins as fast as possible on the rollers during the race season, not really a normal part of my training and I'm not sure if it gives much benefit for racing, but it's just something else to do. Haven't actually measured my cadence though. Might train a bit and give it a go - would be interesting to see if I do alright given that I never trained for any roller race I've done.

Are you quite young Stu? When I bought my first (vinyl) record I only had the choice of vinyl or cassette tape!
