Once again the screen broke and once again a new one appeared magically through the door the following day with no questions asked. Even appeared in my account preregistered. Fantastic service from amazon!
It did remind me that i have my original 3rd generation (keyboard) with a cracked screen. Does anyone have one which doesn't work but has a good screen they would like to sell me so I can try change it?

^ Should only use drums used for vegetable oil or something slightly less carcinogenic than petrochemicals for a BBQ.
Don't be stupid. When you make an oil drum BBQ you season it by burning loads and loads of wood/charcoal on it which burns off any residue from what was originally in it. The same applies to any paintwork on the out side which blisters and can be scraped off. Vegetable oil comes in really thin walled aluminium cans which would last about 10 minutes before melting.

I need to carry a fridge freezer down 2 flights of stairs on Tudor Grove E9. Is anyone around in the next couple of hours to give me a hand. Will only take 10 minutes and you will be handsomely rewarded with coffee and a bagel
EDIT: I should also add that if anyone wants a free Whirlpool fridge freezer around these parts then let me know. Its in my cousins flat, works fine but needs a good clean!
Cheers,
Theo

I have been making these bagels a lot recently. Really simple (especially if you have a stand mixer with dough hook), cheap and quick (2 hrs start to finish). I always thought it was really difficult to make bagels at home but these are dead easy.
Doh

Preboil

Boiling (i would go for 4+ minutes of boiling for a nice crust)

Coat with egg and toppings after this

Aaaaaaaw Yeaaahhh

Recipe on the website is spot on but my notes are I always use the full amount of water mentioned in the recipe and when i made them when it was thunderstorms outside they did not rise nearly as much as usual. Also even if you do not put any toppings on them you should always brush with egg for a nice chewy crust.
