its a hard thing to follow an experienced courier around in London.When you first start the controller will know your new to the job ,so wont push you as much, then gradually give you more work as your fitness improves and you learn your way around more and more,(its not just street knowledge ,but where post rooms are etc).And as Will said the money isnnt what it used to be.But i cant knock it i was a courier for a long time cos i enjoyed it :)

i see where your coming from, might just be his preference to have a short one, although i agree and would personally 100mm stem and if needed shorten the tt. but then i would also have drops on it and make a other things different

i always have a very short stem,need a large frame as i have long legs, but short stem as i have a short body, so short stems always look right to me .
