I am going to Cadiz from Brixton after summer is done (September).
The idea is to get there by bike* hire a windsurfer, sail like hell around Tariffa then get back some how.

I have spent ages looking at blogs and threads about similar tours and, the more I chew it over, the less planning I want to do. GPSs, towing trailers, no; Just get me on my old diamond shaped steel (531? but not sure, rides like a dream) bike and goooooooooooooo.

*What a great dilema to have...to go A fixed, B flipflop or C to mount a 7 gear cassette and rear changer.
I read there is "no shame" in getting geared up for a trip this long. Hilarious!

Anyway, I could do with a chinwag about these and related thoughts I am having.

Any fellow adventurers out there with any thoughts? be mighty good to have a conflab about this.

Nick-Nack, i was doing traing for spint triathlon and my left calf pulled a muscle on the treadmill. so i stopped running. then the shin problem started the following week. delayed reaction to the muscle pull on the calf?? mmm? i cant get why the shin pain in so concentrated and hasnt eased after 5 weeks no running. I have continued cycling and swimming, (i cycle about 75 miles week)
