hmm - couldnt find the Hope Vision 1 anywhere in time for tonight - so I bought a Niterider Minewt re-chargeable thingy, the fellow in the shop said it is good. Dont think it is quite as bright as the hope - is it a load of pikey shite?

why don't you just do laps of the hills around Highgate and stop for ritual abuse at the flask every 30 mins?

I'd love to but I think I need to build up the distances, I have it in my head to do Dunwich in July (Im not convinced it is a good idea, but I'm not going to let that stop me).

Do you know if they perchance serve Discovery on the train to Roydon?

I might need to buy a new light, I have a 5 LED cateye thing for town, but it does not have too much of a beam and i will want somthing a bit better for Dunwich. All the rechargeable ones are very exspensive and I have a milion rechargable AA's for my camera flash. Which AA powered front lights are worth having for not too much wonga.

I can do tot hale if need be, it would give me a chance to see the route home in daylight. Anyone else traveling back to ally pally/muswell hill afterwards?

Thinking about coming along for this, but don't want to be too slow. How is the route for hills, and how long do you expect it to take? (I'd rather not miss the last train back!) Fancy a bit of a night ride and a few extra miles as I get ready for Dunwich in July.

Chap on a light blue conversion with chrome forks, this morning from st johns road in archway to eversholt street. Trackstanding at all the lights to show me up!

Got to nip home before the pub, so I wont make Traf Sq - will catch you up at the Flask a bit later, if I get to the pub before everyone else arrives, I might hang about at the bottom of swains for everyone to join in the mass torture.

I've booked the usual place for the post Swains Lane group rub down. They said that Kamila is not in tonight (apparently off with some kind of itchy condition - I'm sure everyone sends her their best regards) but they said Gertruda can look after everyone on her own, just as long as we are all patient. My advice is dont be the last person to the top of the hill.

Sunday 31st may, 1500 start @ archway toob , finish at the Flask @ 1900pm, around 40miles. exact route to be decided but it will be slightly hilly, take in some country side, no one will be dropped and loads of fun...
