They will often auction memrobilia as well if it is good enough. If you could find an auction with one of the cars in the picture or at least a similar one, there is likly to be some mad millionare collector in the auction room who will pay silly money for it.

What a spoktacular afternoon in the sunshine.......

You have said you would like a skinny tubed (steel) vintage bike to ride fixed.

I dont think a modern ally road frame with vertical dropouts and oversized tubes is the best place to start.

Just be a bit more patient and find the frame you are looking for.

You would be better off with any number of steel road or track frames with the correct dropouts, that you could renovate or respray and it could cost you less.

If it is only off my a mm or so, just clamp it down and the rails will clip into the grooves on the post. I have noticed small variations from saddle to saddle, and the rails have a bit of flex in them.

69gi is fine, nothing too serious and most of the hills are during the first half, with a swift run back to the flask for refreshments at the end.

Tis my nephew's birthday party that afternoon but I might roll up late assuming people will be going from here to the bridges.

Could have sworn I had already signed up for this, but perhaps not.

I am intending to go for a ride on Sunday afternoon (16th August). This was discussed with some others at North drinks last night, so I think there may be a bit of interest, but I will be going regardless.

It will resemble the North London ride route as best as I can remember it.
