Has anyone ever serviced their Royce hubs? (I think these are the track ones) I am having trouble removing the spacers / dustcaps so that I can sort the chainline out (18mm out at the moment) Does anyone know how to dismantle these, and why they are built with a massive spacer on the driveside?
When I replace the spacers, the rims will be way off centre, leaving me thinking what bike these fitted in the first place... the dropouts on my frame are a fairly standard symetrical 120mm and I can't move the chainring in any further because it will foul the chainstay.
See http://www.flickr.com/photos/7962736@N02/5664796172/in/photostream/ for example. Tanks.

This have to go: Postage is £15, or free pickup from Harpenden, Herts (my house or the Railway Station) 10% of the price donated to this here forum.
Sun Chrome Frame
Fully Chromed - Maybe 1960s
Chrome is mostly great , a bit of wear near the bottom bracket.
Seatstay has damage near where the chainring would pass - structurally fine as not that deep. Please see photo.

I have one like this...
but it's no good for removing my White industries freewheel. It is fractionally too big and only offers about a mil of contact, before inevitably slipping off.The outside diameter of the freewheel cutouts is 36.3mm and the inside is 30mm. Can anyone who has one of the four-prong jobbies take a quick measure of theirs and let me know which brand/model will fit?

I'll take it - any earthly chance you could post?
I can come into town but it's not easy.
