Said what I was thinking, this is like the creme de la creme, the top off the jersey milk, the top 2mm of a flat white. Good thread.
I'd like a proper stupidly expensive, couldn't actually lock it up safely anywhere even with three locks, 12 spokes per wheel type stupidly light road bike, maybe carbon or something. Not sure which one yet. For fast 90 mile Sunday road rides.
And I'd like a proper vintage (50s or 60s) English road bike with mud guards and yummy lugs like the Holdsworth murtle posted up for commuting on days it might rain and for riding between tea rooms and pubs in the shires at a slower pace.
I'd keep my Orrell though for daily fixed gear goodness and weaving in and out of cars.
+1 but then i would have to have a whole section for mountain seeing as ive grown up riding mountainLets see:
- Speciliazed Bighit upgraded with the best fox DH forks and some massive 210mm Hope brakes and levers then a nice gruppo like shimano saint with 12mm rear through axle dribbles
- Probably some trek carbon full sus mtb with XTR everything and hayes strokers and some crazy light wheelset
- a toosmallforme DJ bike to crash around on with argyles and a front avid BB5 (gotta be cable for street imo i just like it)
and then probably some really tasteful cruiser bike with only a coaster brake for the moments where you dont care hitting a car at low speed :)

Yeah i'll see you down at South's, i've got lots of scars lol, my one with the skin graft is raised out of the muscle a bit, if that makes sense, because there is really heavy scarring/scar tissue in the muscle underneath thats kinda made the muscle bigger than it should be, not sure if that makes sense? It pretty much covers most of my shin on that leg.
Would tell you the whole story but its a bit long winded to put it all up on here again, and i'm sure enough peeps here have heard it a few times already lol ;)
Lets have a link then, im enjoying theses stories :D Heal up soon Jemjah -

Just PM hilary, buy levers and calipers for £15 posted and then go to your LBS while your waiting for them and buy cable and housing then assemble voila - £20 (thats for one brake) if your getting 2 you might need to spend about £25 on the brakes maybe + P&P and then cabling will be at least a tenner cause LBS charge a ton (at least thats what they charge where i live)

Because sylvans are shit pedals as well, there I said it, not everything NJS is made of Gold!
Bmx pedals can take a lot of abuse, a lot more than sylvans thats for sure, they are also wayyy more comfy.
The whole point of powergrips/Jol's straps is that you need a wide platform pedal to make best use of them, since by spreading the load over a wider area across your foot/the pedal, this increases the amount of leverage you have, this also makes skidding/stopping require less effort, you'll be amazed at the huge difference switching to Gurney (JOL's) straps and bmx platforms, the polo guys love them and loads of trick riders are switching over to these straps or horizontal mounting straps on bmx pedals....its the way forward man!
+100
Sylvans = POS, i bought some and then spun them in my hand the bearings are like sand paper -> truly dreadful imo i only like clipless, but on MTB Clipless and flats, i havent tried JOLs straps but im very tempted to buy some BMX pedals and try em out, they look the shiz!waits for grammar nazi to come and point out 100 mistakes
