What are you trying to do?
The same excerses as before - 1. identifying mismatching pairs, 2. work out the correct value for 'field X' in the mismatched pair, 3. Fill an upload sheet with different named headers so it can be sent for remediation.
Why are you joining these two CSVs?
The "Report" is made up of these two CSVs - reportdateA = the first 70k rows, reportdatea = the next 69kish rows.
So I could do the UID and column deletes in both, the lookup for 'field X' has to be in a combined sheet.
I also need to do some other filters like when field x for a particular role has a date <today then ignore, and flag when certain columns = 'yes' with some other conditions.

NABIYE Car Roof Bag. Foldable waterproof roof box.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09T34CMH9
Used for one trip, then my folks gave us their roof box when their car was written off.
I like it as it packs down small - about the dimensions of a 27" monitor but fatter.
Size 38" x 38" x 18"
Weight 3.9kg

I just need to do a YouTube course / tutorial as this is just not working for me.
I have:
- Joined 2 csv (same headers, c.140k rows x 77 columns)
- Removed some columns
- Added some columns concat'ing other columns for UIDs
- Made a flag when a date in one column is older than today
- Removed duplicates from a new UID column
- Removed a column I sort of wanted which contains numbers and blanks where the numbers are whole and to 1 decimal point, because I'm getting an error ( [DataFormat.Error] We couldn't convert to Number) when I try and close and load that says it can't convert the numbers.
But the whole thing won't load (black=what I want, red=source, purple=removed column I thought was the problem)
It feels like there is a fundamental concept I am missing about how PQ works. I literally just want the sheet for the work I've done thus far so I can do my lookups as I'm getting no where. But now I can't even do that.
I was hoping I'd be able to do 90% of my steps on this stupid massive sheet to get it down to a manageable size, while also having each step neatly labeled and also being able to copy the code from the Advanced Editor so I can perform all these steps again with new data ( the 2 source csv have a consistent name with each days date).
Now thoroughly depressed. But have also locked onto it and am struggling to let it go.

On the tstak chat from a few pages back. Got round to getting one to house my router and Multi-Tool. It's got an SSD insert, but I think I'll make my own out of foam.
Got to say I'm impressed at how solid they are. As they're the lower end, rather than the Tough System, I didn't expect them to be as solid, but they're more than ample for my diy needs. Tbh my original drill driver box is even less solid yet is still perfect after 9yrs.

I'll see if I can find that option.
I swear my current version of PQ looks more stripped down than it used to. I have also lost the PQ tab like this:

And only have it as option within data (I think). There have been efficiency drives so I wonder if they've scaled back the office package or something. Likewise, I could be paranoid but I think they've reduced the number or processors(?) or something on my VM. My ram is the same but I'm routinely maxing out my machine using xls.

Yes. I need a few number text concatenations. But I thought Text. From(xxx) would deal with it.
Now I have a sort of grasp of what I'm doing I'm going to start again.
Being able to tidy up and remove the unnecessary columns without xls crashing has been a real game changer.
And I'm hoping by copying that detailed view thing I can copy and save that to re-run all these early steps.
Unfortunately where I really struggle is with more detailed formulas - e.g. I want to look for a matching UID against the whole colum of UID where the value of another column = "hamster" then when there is >1 result concat those with a ; delimiter. In excel I can just about work it out, but 0

Going round in circles with PQ.
When I try and load i get
[dataformaterror] we couldn't convert to Number
How do I identify the problem area?
Basically I've deleted a load of columns and added some new concat columns, but I swear to god I've been through all of those to check they're packed full of Text. From
I was hoping to load at this point because the sheet should be more manageable and I can't get my if lookup to return a result in PQ.

Yeah I know what you mean, but having something made from technical material that doesn't make you look like you should be hiking is a good idea.
It's basically what Rapha did with their whole urban/prommuter range. When I commuted (and could still fit in it), I wore my Rapha Fixie jacket constantly because it was both technically excellent for cycling <30m distances and looked normal enough to then wear to the pub.
I feel like the popularity of outdoor gear has meant that lots of people are happy with their
arcteryx gillets under their suit jackets. But it'd be nice if there was something that struck that balance properly. -
Yes to Trumps Parsons.
No to Prince Andrew.
Equality before the law.
Is 17 years a ridiculous sentence for dodging $1.4m in tax and buying a gun when high? Yes of course. Would sending a recovering drug addict to jail do them more harm than good? Yes of course. Does he represent a danger to the public? Possibly. Idk enough.
But that is the law and sentencing as it stands. It being an unfair situation for everyone doesn't make it fair for one privileged person to circumvent it.
To me it just stands in such unbelievable contrast to the experience of say, Kalief Browder. I find the whole thing sickening.

Anyone need extra storage over Xmas but doesn't have enough room to store a fuckoff big roofbox?
Did a clearout on my day off and realised we still have this foldable one even though we inherited myfolks roofbox.

NABIYE Car Roof Bag Waterproof,... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09T34CMH9?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_shareI like it. Obvs it takes a bit more thought to fit than a plastic one, but straightforward and importantly it packs down. We used it in torrential rain one Xmas it everything was aok inside.

Just to add to Will's experience.
- Levi's commuter jeans
- Rapha shorts
- Zara chino jean thingys with a decent amount of lycra.
The common denominator here is fabric with lycra and stretch to it. Anything majority cotton is going to get fucked. It is the worst possible of all. Materials for a cyclist's gooch.

- The presidental pardon is a ridiculous concept
- Biden Jnr is clearly dodgy af, has leveraged his dad his whole life, and his unbelievable privilege is a stark contrast to the rest of America
- Pardoning his son is yet another eg of nepotism and is a real low point for America and the concept of public service.
- Empathising on a personal level or thinking "what would you do?" is a separate point. Yes they've had so much tragedy, and I feel for them. And yeah I'd probably do the same.
- This is minor compared to Trump S1 and probably nothing on what will come in S2.
- The idea that this makes any difference to anything is ridiculous. The country is totally morally bankrupt with an idiot majority.
- None of these points are mutually exclusive.
- The presidental pardon is a ridiculous concept
