Have decided on white bar tape. The saddle is just too old and dark to take brown tape on the front. Its not going on untill I'm happy with the bar set up.

After the success of possibly selling my car hi-fi I have another bargain bit of audio equipment.

Sherwood 50 watts per ch, 4 ch hi-fi amp - SOLD

(so you can run 2 pairs of speakers)

**The bad: **

The amp emits a low quiet humm, which can only be heard when the volume is very low. This means its perfect for house parties but not for a quiet night in.

The good:

Its £5 (RRP was £225 to give you an idea of what range it was in)

FYI the system came out of a KA... they're awesome 1st cars.

I saw this wheel set on gumtree might be worth a look - £50

Just had another look at your Gitane. I'd keep it as is. Always good to have a geared bike and the Pug will be a good conversion.

That said, it would be faster and cheaper to convert the Gitaine.
