Had a go, ran with it, jumped on kicked it in to 2nd, it purred for a second! tried that a few times but didn't get anymore out of it, schooling up on carburetors. Gonna drain it I think, see if there's any crap in there

So... had a go at bump starting it. Put it in gear, pulled the clutch in and it's still really hard/ impossible to push, like you're trying to push it when it's in gear, like as if pulling in the clutch isn't doing anything.

Rolls easilly in neutral, put it in gear with the clutch pulled right in, feels like it doesn't want to budge.

Any ideas!? sorry for taking over the thread as my 2 stroke 101!

Taken the spark plug out a few times, always at least a bit of oil/fuel on it. Has got a new plug in it, think it probably needs another quarter turn in that case. I'll give that a go. I'll get hold of a compression tester as well, cheers

Pretty sure fuels teaching the carb as when I leaned it over it seemed to be coming of it. Might turn the carb drain float bowl tap on and turn the fuel on and see what happens for a second? Has been sat for a while now just tried starting it intermittently

Spark looks strong, wondering if it just needs tightening, was told not to over tighten so didn't but found an owners manual that says it's a possible cause of not starting. It's in fairly tight though. I'll see what I can do about compression and getting carb cleaned. Cheers

Can't get the husky going, it's had fuel, new spark plug, tipped it over till nothing was coming out, tried it with the choke on/off, fuel switch in different positions... What am I missing?

Sitting on it and going brrrrm is losing its novelty
