L'Eroica require the bike to be pre 1987
The downtube is stamped Alan 82 - which I guess points to it being built in 1982
But the BB is stamped 223088 - so maybe 88, but I don't think they still made this then.
So it's not pre 1980, but that doesn't matter for L'Eroica. It's either '82 or '88. I think '82 more likely.

What I beleive to be (not 100%) a Freddie Grubb frame. Sizing:
ST: 58.5cm c-c 60.5cm c-t
TT: 58.5cm c-c1962 frame (frame no 62702) refinished in a dark blue and not built up since refinish. Stored for many years so paint is chipped in a few places. Campagnolo dropouts, Nervex BB shell, fancy scrolling lugwork, curved brake bridge.
