I went a couple of weeks ago and it was still bloomin' freezing.

Takes your breath away when it's so cold. I also felt less than human for a few hours after.

Maybe it's to keep the pool turn-over rate high, and ensure large amounts of hot food and drinks are served in the cafe...?

I wouldnt want to swim passed teddington anyway. You have to contact the port authority to boat passed teddington onwards anyway,so.....

I dont really believe that infants should have it done in developed countries, because the foreskin is attached to the glans. Meaning it is MORE painful for a child to get it done than an adult, where the foreskin becomes a separated and the glans toughens up.

But in developing countries, where things like AIDS are sky high and the circumcision in adults would be really awkward logistically. Then infant circumcision makes a lot of sense.

Regardless of any of this, I think parents have the right to choose it for their child wherever they live, governments would do well to stop meddling.

Surely education would be better than cutting bits off !

Nice ! The Spa pool in Beckenham is my favourite pool. Fullstop.

I actually drove over there a few sundays ago, about 13-15 miles just to swim as i havent been there for years, still a great pool to do laps in. Fast pool. Normally get a whole lane to myself too.

Anyways..........(back on track Nick-Nack!)........ think i'll pop down to the pool at luncheon time for a quickie. Missed out yesterday cos of the football..... I fancy a bit of fly today.

Well they do say that variety is the spice of life, but then I just stick to swimming, cos it doesnt hurt as much. :)

I know. I'm Kent bound for sure eventually. Till then I'm Just looking at more urban alternatives that make the compromise of heading in that direction but retain cyclable contact with town. Just throwing ideas around really.
