As someone who will hopefully be putting together a similar thing together soon, may I ask a bit about the construction on this? Brick under the wood exterior? Was planning permission needed for something of this size? (I've read the outbuildings bit on the planning portal but still a bit in the dark)

Two very different machines being culled from the stable in my (and Mrs Pablo's) latest attempt to be tidy. Located in Wimbledon, collection only.
Lot no. 1
2014 Genesis Volare frameset, size XS (47cm C-T seattube)
Reynolds 631 + carbon fork.
£200 -SOLD-
This has <100 miles on it, turned out to be rather too aggro a position for Mrs Pablo. Current geometry can be found here -> http://www.genesisbikes.co.uk/bikes/road/road-performance/volare/volare-931-fs. This measures a touch taller in the headtube than the current XS.
Carbon fork, tapered steerer, M:Part cartridge bearing headset. Takes a 27.2 post.
Pictured dual pivot 105 brakes are thrown in.PICTURES: https://flic.kr/s/aHskSNPnrG
Lot no. 2
Simple and non-descript hybrid, 43cm 'medium'.
Pinnacle Neon alu frame, Pinnacle Aura Bow carbon forks.
£170 DROPPED TO £140 - SOLDMost of the parts are new, I pretty much just finished this off when somebody decided what they really wanted was a Croix De Fer.
1x9, running Shimano Acera wide ratio 9 speed, Sturmey Archer single ring chainset, sealed Shimano BB, sealed FSA headset. Tektro mini V brakes, Avid levers. Loads of clearance for bigger tyres, guards, etc.
Handbuilt wheelset, Miche Racing Box on Open Pro's. Tyres are Conti Grand Sports, still with the moulding sprue in the centre.PICTURES: https://flic.kr/s/aHskSNPnrG

Afternoon Norwich-ers,
On the off-chance this is seen in time...I have a question that I have done some searches on and turned up nothing:
I'm getting the train from Liverpool St to Norwich and back tomorrow, and have gone through all the rigmarole of booking a spot in the cycle carriage, yadayada. My question is, is all that actually enforced or strictly necessary IRL? It irks me to have to be on a specific train home.
Also, I'm given to understand that one can't sit nicely next to one's steed as per Southern rail etc...is that right? Really don't want a lock with me...
Thanks for your kind assistance one and all

Yo Brightoners, got my CDF frame up for sale on here and am back in Brighton/Eastbourne/Hastings fairly frequently these days so if anyone fancies it we could probably sort it out.
Lemme know...

Because I'm a slut for MY2015, up for sale is my much-loved Genesis CDF frameset (inc. headset).
Almost exactly a year old, we've had many, well documented, good times (http://nowherefast.cc/raining-mud-from-a-lacerated-tyre-slayer/ - http://nowherefast.cc/when-the-best-just-isnt-the-best/ - http://chordandcadence.wordpress.com/2013/10/31/reviewed-genesis-cdf-2014/).
It's comfy, it's versatile. While it's certainly had some adventures, this frame has been well cared for, all threads are neat and tidy, the headset has been regreased a few times, and full guards used in winter.
56 cm
Reynolds 520 tubing
Disc brake only
Clearance for 35mm tyres with guards
Takes a 27.2 post[will add photos tonight]
Located in Wimbledon.
£150
Dibs and PM fine, but ease of collection may take some priority.

ah that's awesome, thank you. Basically I was just worried about brickwork being needed to make something properly dry and secure. I'm hoping to replace an existing summerhouse scenario with something more useable, but reckon if I start building legit walls it might raise some questions.
