For all the arguments on the poll thread I have to say that was a lovely evening. Arvy, you certainly did a cracking job.

It's not about the Flask as a venue, is it? I wouldn't actually mind so much the prices, poor selection and rude staff if the place was packed every Tuesday evening. It's not. I remember some time ago coming up the hill and there was only 6 people including me. And I can't remember the last time we had a newbie or Eastie/Westie/Southie visitor. As a forum drinks, North is failing.
Friday drinks (which I actually find more enjoyable) does not qualify as North on Tour, since no one outside a rather small group is actually aware of it.
I would still come up the hill (from time to time) if we do stay at The Flask but as it is, it really isn't what a LFGSS drinks should be about.
