Didn't they just change the government guidelines for this so they have to be available from discounted stores as well?
My kids school just ditched their maroon jumpers for blue so you can get plain ones in asda - you don't need the badge - and at the start of the year they gave everyone two embroided sets of uniform for free to get started with. -

Can anyone point me towards a turntable stand, that I can fit my amp and cd player underneath?
I need to move everything to the top of some bookshelves so they're out of reach of a toddler, but the space is only big enough if everything stacks on top of each other. The record player has a bigger footprint than the amp and cd player, so I can't just make a pile as is. -

On fixed mind, I understand the standard double "L" links could be forced to separate when backpedaling due to the resistance.
I don't think that's true, the chain would still be at tension. Otherwise you'd experience the same effect pedalling forwards when the quicklink was on the bottom of the chain run surely?
