Its gone from being one or two coaches back, the last time I did it , to 6 coaches . Perhaps some of this in inevitable , but if it is not managed carefully then we could have the Suffolk Police express an interest in the event . Perhaps next year some "guidance" to particpants might be needed.
Alternatively, one could involve the villagers more in the event itself . Perhaps a WI tea stall?

Good luck everyone .
As some one whose only ever done the DD in the wet then can I strongly suggest you bring a spare pairs of socks to change into. Every thing else seems to dry out execpt your socks.
Wool is better than cotton and in terms of stuff carried less is more ; rely on Chap Nav and not GPS
Alex ,James and Ed is this the first time for you ? If so then have a great ride . The DD I enjoyed most of all was my first one in 98 ; it was then I discovered that cycling through N essex in the dark can be quite magical, especially the point @ N Weald when you finally hit the countryside and darkness.
If I am back from Sadlers Wells then I ll try and look out for you at the top of the Lea Bridge Rd.

Here is red Moulton midi in good condition: newish tyres and tubes and a new gear cable.
Every thing works well , though its missing its front mudguard. That is some where in my cellar, I shall try and find it . The saddle has seen better days .The midi is the smaller(7/8th) version of the Series one Moulton, built by Raleigh. It should fit a smaller person ( 5ft) or be a good teenager or older child' bike; it has a certain retro "chic ". The wheels are 14"
Pics are here
Its in Walthamstow, collection only or a possible delivery. I am looking for £80, this seems to be the rate on ebay .

You got lucky on the NHS though. Not everyone would even qualify for treatment - I wonder what the waiting list time is like is for just boring stuff?
Hippy, you are talking rubbish
Every one who is eligble for NHS care , ie almost all of us including you, is eligble for NHS Dental treatment.
Most is good quality, though there are some practices playing games over what's avaialble on the NHS. If they say they can't do a crown etc then leave the chair, contact PALs to complain and go else whereWaiting times are minimal or non existent.
I am , or was , paid to get more of you to see NHS dentists...

I suspect that the lo pro had cantilevers as at the time it was built they were one of the few ( only ) reliable brakes available .
