There is no London section anymore and no meet/ride (although some of us took part in the London New Years Day Parade). In the latest N &V Cally Callomon suggested trying to get it going again so he could ride his Ordinary down Oxford Street once more.

As far as I know it hasn't been meeting for some years now even though it is still listed in News & Views. Coincidentally,the latest N &V has an item looking for somebody to get it going again - not sure If I'm up for leading but would definitely support.

The framebuilding equipment was moved on sometime ago - unfortunately, the kitchen and living room took the brunt of the flood.

Yes, Oliver, Rob is now, more or less, full time on the barge since getting Heritage Lottery funding to restore it (but still going over the website). He's currently moored at Queenborough (where we met up for a ride on Wednesday), waiting for the right conditions to take it up Milton Creek where the Raybel was originally built 100 years ago next year. Raybel Charters is the community interest company for anyone interested, and,yes, he was flooded but the shop window is still fascinating.

I hadn't realised I had broken mine until it was X-rayed (pics at #810), no surgery needed but it was in a sling for a few weeks so worth following up on campervangogh's advice.

You can find them in London Oxford Street store too. Felt kinda weird coming across them when looking for a cardigan.

Did Highbury Corner for the first time this morning since the new layout came into play. Work on the whole project still ongoing so traffic stacked up from all directions but simply flew through from Canonbury Road to Highbury Fields - impressed with the cycle lanes and cyclist-priority lights.

I'll second the Isle of Sheppey and Queenborough, particularly if you want to avoid any hipster vibe. You can walk/cycle most of the sea wall around to Minster beach where you can beachcomb/hunt for fossils when the tide is out.

Also Elmley nature reserve has some lovely 'pods' to stay in surrounded by nature with views across the Swale and walks/bird watching hides.
