Another vote for Norwich as a nice city to cycle in.

Lots of ways to get away from the main roads, flattish, lots of 'watering holes'.

I've got a 1924 Sunbeam 2 speed (cyclic bottom bracket not hub) gears. Its so comfortable to ride.

Only saw a name on one frame Rudge.

Manufacturing operator safety - not much compared with todays requirements - hands covered in cutting oil (causes dermatitus), in the sequence of 'painting' the frame, dipping into a tank of enamel, the workers hands were in and out of the paint.

Just think my Raleigh Superbe probably came out of the same Nottingham factory.

My abode is 1 mile from the ruins of Bawsey Church.
Quite often out that way in the spring on the MTB (That track is not the best to ride in the winter).

I was out in the Sandringham area this morning - geared Dawes, not fixed today unfortunately.

Used to do a lot of walking and so forth normally based at Keswick and using Mountain Goat bus service to get about.

Fired my interest to make a visit up there again.
