A rather friendly white van man at some traffic lights in camden, leaning out of his window and complimenting me on a trackstand :) put a smile on my face this grey afternoon.
The last van man that chose to talk to me at traffic lights did so to tell me he killed a cyclist last year and didnt feel guilty about it (wtf?) its nice to know that not all other road users are aggro anti-cyclist bastards

Last count for Mexico city from the BBC this morning was 103 dead and ~1600 potential infections.
although, if ive been reading the reports correctly, only 20 of these deaths are actually CONFIRMED swine flu deaths, the rest of the 103 are simply suspected...
