linnel do the royal mail bags, and then they do the 'courier rider bag' which is exactly the same net as a chrome messenger bag. but it is massive. yes it isn't padded, but neither is a chrome.
i just cut up a camping mat and inserted that under the floating liner to create padding. the strap is well padded and has a velcro section for a comms pouch and a seat belt clip for easy removal.
the courier rider bag is seriously good for the money. and i can recommend linnel aswell, they sent me a free sample of the bag and never asked for it back! so mine cost nothing. i tried to return it but they didn't respond to my emails.
it has served me through all weathers with full loads, even curryer work.
it is basically an xxl chrome citizen. the quality is the same, the layout is the same, just doesn't have the logo on it (which is a bonus).
Thats a recomendation and a half for a budget bag, might have to check it out...

So after some considerable badgering from me, my brother has finally given in and decided to move away from the £100 'full suss' BSO's that he has insisted on trashing for the past few years, and buy a decent Bike that wont fall to pieces in a few months.
He uses his bike everyday as a commuter/town bike, lives in cambridge, so there is precisely one hill he will ever have to climb, but I dont reckon he's too down with the SS. He says he likes the look of this http://www.reveloutdoors.co.uk/08-Giant-Escape-R1/cycledetail/1134 I dont think it looks too bad for the monies, but then i know fuck all when it comes to gears.
opinions/advice/recomendations muchly appreciated

Really like the new court, it is almost the perfect size (very similar to newington) and there seems to be few locals that want rid of us! but then i suppose the huge grass area and other concrete court helps alot.its a winner, despite being that much further for me to get to than the thunderdome.
Good games last night, good to see you James, and Harry and Marcus....although somehow i was so pissed by the time i headed home i found myself on the wrong side of Putney bridge, confused and wobbly...oops.

That its meant to be the height of summer, yet it hasnt stopped raining for three fucking weeks...
