Sooooooo, after the disappearance of my old Polo Bike on monday, my boss has told me im far more useful when im mobile, and to buy a new bike on company credit cards, the cost of which will then get pulled out of my bonus (whenever that comes)...he said spend 600squid

basically ive just been given 600 squid to build a polo bike however i like....I am tempted to join the sword brigade as i really like the frames, but then im a bit scared of blowing £400 on just a frame......any suggestions?

28 271mm spokes with 12mm nipples, perfect for the above rim with a low flange hub, laced for a grand total of 24 hours but never ridden, dismantled to re-use hub. £10?

Thats the worst bit, it wasnt locked. Im usually really good about locking/covering the bikes, but when i got home after work yesterday i was still intending to head out again soon, so left it unlocked and uncovered, then decided I couldnt face the mission to parsons green as still knackerd after the weekend, and completely forgot about it. Murphy's fucking law one of the few times its not actually locked someone clocks it :(
apparently it was still there when my flatmate got in about half eleven.....

I feel like such a dick, as not only was it not locked, but i never wrote down the serial number on the BB so cant even report it, what with being a franken-bike of rubbishy parts......I suppose these things happen, and at least ill never do it again!

Ended up staying at home due to mega exhaustion after the weekend....wish id come now :(
