Hi the Hackney Bikeworkshop has had the following request for help from Re-cycle Bicycle Aid for Africa
If you give give a hand even for an hour it would be a big help for them.
Are you please able to help compacting some bikes next Tues or Wed? = taking pedals off and turning handle bars
Will need to take pedal spanner, 15mm for once loose and 13mm + allan key to loosen handlebars
And string to tie the pedals to the bike + scissors or knife etc to cut stringPlease let me know if you've tools, as then others without tools can help
Please also pass this on to likely folk

Saturday 16th
Bike the Bounds
The great annual circumnavigation of the borders of our diverse borough.
It's a bit like the ancient tradition of beating the bounds, except a
lot less effort and wear on the soles of your shoes. An absorbing
journey of surprising contrasts, totalling about 20 miles, ending up at
a pub.12 noon, Hackney town hall, from where we will head off in a
counter-clockwise direction
This year, we'll be able to take a break at the new Clissold Park Cafe,
and the final destination is the Princess of Wales pub on the River Lea.
Bring sunblock if the weather holds! The ride is suitable for all, including families, or come and do just a
part of it.Look forward to seeing you there!
O.
