Also just ordered a pair of uk hardy olive trees. Only young but fruited this year apparently. Undecided whether to plant them out when they arrive or wait til spring.

Just ordered a passata maker. Exciting times. Sieve method takes forever and I’m over it.

Asters annd dahlias are looking good still, put in a new bed(was previously flowering bulbs and odds and ends but mostly a mess). Sowed some salads, radish and other random bits just to fill it. Rotorvated the unsuccessful potato bed and put white mustard seeds down as cover crop.

Will probably replant the tiniest ones in spring.

I’m really happy with my snake from Malice, it’s not shaded though.
Mang at New Wave in Muswell Hill does epic dragons and snakes but often a bit more colourful.
Shantitattoo also does amazing ones.

I can confirm @spinnnout lfgss aji lemon is an absolute banger. Really fierce but fades quick and really tasty

The real question is do I load up on straw and fleece and attempt to overwinter the most prolific plants in the tunnel? I’ll be saving seed and will definitely be dishing out basque and sugar rush peach bell seeds if anyone wants them. My naga has done fuck all despite being the biggest plant :/

Today’s chillis are nice.
Saving the orange Caribbean in the freezer for a sauce once there’s a few more ripened, used some snakes in the passata.
Drying the big red basques and will grind for powder.

For passata? Roast with some garlic, chilli, chives and basil then smoosh it through a sieve with a spoon to remove skins and seeds.

Turned into 1litre of blood red passata :)

Brined the currant toms with some biquinhos and shishito for a few jars of anti pasti.

Bought the woolly mammoth clone. Looks like it should cover most ground with plenty of low end if required.
Will give it a fresh coat of paint and label the knobs
