Also, there's 19 teams confirmed on the main thread in the london section. How does everyone feel about moving the start forward to 10AM?
Each game = 10 mins + 5 min changeover maximum = 15mins
20 team double elimination = 38 games
38 x 15 = 570mins / 60 = 9.5 hours
9.5 hours = 10:00 to 19:15
Sound good?

I've sent off an email to the pavilion guys to find out if we can use it. Unfortunately, I can't use the massive printer here but I should be able to get hold of a big white board /flip chart. Did Stace say that he could get a white board too? Two would be great I think.
What is going to happen with the BBQ? Are we going to get a bunch of stuff in and sell or have it there for people to use? It might get a bit chaotic if everyone is trying to use it at the same time!

Yeah, for sure.
I can't think of my favourite places to ride as such but moments I do enjoy are maxing it down East Road at rush hour in the middle of the traffic, realising I've gone the wrong way and end up taking that wooden walkway alongside the river from Jesus Green to Quayside, and Castle Hill (down).

I like everything you just said. I know Bogey was on cake duty but the more the better. Trestle tables will be great. We should have measured the goal width while we were at Trumpington on Sunday. I might roll on down there with a tape measure tomorrow morning.
Also tomorrow, I'll check in with the outdoor projector if people think it is a good idea.

Bump bump bump!
Please chuck your names down on the list above as soon as you can, we're getting closer by the day...
We're all ganging together to make this a great tournament and it's looking like it's going to be a really good day. Prizes are coming together nicely as well as other festivities (at and after polo)!
-
So, the tournament is approaching! I think we sorted out most things on Sunday and what people will/can do but there were a few things we still need to sort.
The most important (if I can remember properly) was the toilet situation.
We need to figure out if the we can obtain use of the new Trumpington pavilion's facilities. If anyone knows of anyone that could help with this, that would be fantastic as it would be amazing to have use of it for the day.
Mike, do you still have the papers from our meeting on Sunday? Can you stick up a list on here of things we all need to sort out individually?
I'm going to try and drum up more confirmations on the other forum so we can get a real idea of who is coming/needs places to sleep etc.
Anyway, if anyone has any ideas/suggestions etc we can all discuss them here when we are having our computer alone time and not together at polo etc.
But yeah, ears to the ground regarding the pavilion!
Rad.

I'll ask the neighbours if I get a chance. They might have some crapy ones, that they don't want. Or if you wish - contact them yourself: http://www.mattsnowball.com/ Alternatively you can rent it from them.
Matt Snowball's are your neighbors? I go there a fair bit. Good idea though asking if they've got any ruined cymbals come back in.

Shoreditch, so get on the A10 and keep going north?
i'm doing the bhf london-brighton in a fortnight, should stretch my hills potential…
.
Don't stay on the a10 as it gets horrible and busy. Instead head up to Waltham cross, enfield, cheshunt etc then follow the smaller roads that run near the a10. It's nice.
-
This is great that we've got so many teams coming to play.
To all you long distance travelers, please send me a PM if it's looking like you'll need a place to stay. Depending on how much room we can muster up, priority will go to those traveling furthest but we should be able to accommodate most requests.
Thanks!!
