Weirdly my commuter tyres takes a normal 539 long-reach caliper at the front but needs one of these suckers on the rear to reach the rim. Since they only come as a pair, the front unit is looking for a good home.
Brand new unused with replaceable pads etc. For recessed fork not nutted.
53-73 mm reach.http://www.tektro.com/_english/01_products/01_prodetail.php?pid=66&sortname=Road+Bike&sort=2&fid=9

20mm setback which is about 20mm too much for me as it turns out. Been on the sunday best for a year. Absolutely no slippage, hassle free clamp at the top.. I'd keep it if it weren't for the setback.
It's 27.2 diam, 350mm long and the min insertion line is 100mm.

Wonder if the Bike Blog will respond to this daft editorial/troll in the Observer:
"Cities are for cars, buses and trains." -

Do the pedestrial lights at controlled intersections have any legal weight? If a pedestrian steps out into the path of a cyclist approaching the green light at speed, is the cyclist going to be found liable for failing to predict the pedestrian would ignore the red "don't cross" sign right in front of them?

All of the above! Really nice vibe and great route - super tour of the south east, especially for folks that don't get out that way often or ever. Canonbie and Fox Hill were crackers but Wells Park was the one that broke me - a minute's rest half way up required. The really steep bits were fascinating.. befuddled to find myself leaning back, pedalling forwards and hauling up on the brake hoods to brace against the pedal stroke. Mental, in the best possible way.

If your inseam is only 29" then you have a proportionaly longer torso. Average for this height is an inseam more than 2 inches longer! If this is not a measurement mistake I would look to an oversquare frame--- top-tube longer than seat-tube. The average frame size for someone your height is 52cm c-c . You, however, will (if your height and inseam have been correctly measured) probably need a smaller seat-tube and a longer top-tube.
If I didn't have a chronic back problem - reduced flexibility - this would be appropriate. Instead I need a "normal" TT and tall HT (or comedy stem). -
Which leads me to this £880 Cannondale Synapse 105. That is, if Evans is correct in suggesting that 54 cm the ideal size for my height at 174cm/5'8''.
What's your inseam length? I'm 5'8/29" and started on a 54cm Focus but 52 or even 50cm is a better fit now. If you're normally proportioned and don't have gorilla arms I'd suggest the lower side of 54cm. -

Route is available on TLC site now - can be turned into a Garmin friendly route via Ride With GPS or it's ilk, eh?
Here be my attempt: [ame]http://ridewithgps.com/routes/2294119[/ame
[/ame]A few counterflow bike-laney sections and some dismounts but it did all join up so fairly confident :)
Edit: climbs added, pave not (surprises!). Looks OK on a 705 but no POIs via GPX. Beep boop.

Dakin, I'm out of town for the weekend. If you can pick up on Monday it's yours otherwise SF has it.
