How much above your station do you have to be , to think you have the right to shout at another cyclist for doing something you deem as wrong?
Do it to me and i'll kick you off your bike .
Station? Right? It's just words mate, freedom of expression. Feel free to ignore or respond in kind.. or be a fucking nutter and kick them off their bike. -

I got called out by a pedestrian this morning, while stopped at a red light. "It's still red you know!" he yelled while pointing at the lights. I'm getting confused now.
Maybe I was wearing it on behalf of the white ortlieb blue bars wanker who plowed straight through the red light earlier, weaving an S-bend around cross traffic to avoid collision.

Cheers ears. Found this thread: http://www.lfgss.com/thread35289.html now that I know what it's called.

So I'm an idiot and overtightened the drive side nut, shearing the hub nut in two. When I loosened the outer nut off it just fell out onto the floor in two pieces.
It's the dark grey piece here next to the track nut, with the parallel cutout and textured face that grips the dropout on the inside:

Is that thing replaceable or am I looking at a new hub and rebuild?

^^ DHB looks very good especially for the price although I would question how 'breathable' it is. Most jackets claim to be breathable by whacking a couple of vents on that don't do much.
I use a north face "venture" jacket with massive pit zips - from ribs to elbow. Special fabric doesn't get clammy, two pockets, extra long sleeves, proper waterproof. Open the vents in Autumn to expel vapour, close them in Winter, layer with a l/s jersey and it's good down to freezing point. It lives in my commuting backpack year round.
I like Altura night vision trousers, mainly because the length is adjustable so they fit my stubby legs without tailoring.

Oh, a reading thread!
D B C Pierre's Lights Out In Wonderland is the best thing I've read in a long long time. Haute cuisine, debauchery and rebellion in Berlin. Skip the footnotes though.[ame="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lights-Out-in-Wonderland-ebook/dp/B0045I7FZG/"]Lights Out in Wonderland eBook: DBC Pierre: Amazon.co.uk: Kindle Store[/ame]

Thanks, he's ok considering. May even be back on the bike eventually if recovery goes well. Could certainly have been worse, eg if that cyclist hadn't been clued up enough to notice, care and stop to help. http://www.nhs.uk/actfast/Pages/stroke.aspx >>>

This is a very good characterisation. /nothing to add
