I'm after some 1'' threaded forks. 700c. Close rake with a steerer tube of 175mm. Slightly longer is fine as long as there is about 50mm of thread under the 175mm measurement.
Track forks would be prefered but tight road is also fine.

miro_o, I can live with doing a little hop skid to slow me down every now and again, but there's no way you'll catch me leaning over the front of the bike dragging my back wheel along! They're also Conti' Giros so pretty cheap with minimal armour. They came with the wheels so leaving them on for now.

Well its not my hack. Bit of a vanity build I guess! There are various routes around oxford where I can open it up without the fear of having to brake suddenly but it is more of an indulgence bike.

This is my Dave Russell. Mavic cranks, Mavic GP4 tubs on Maillard 700 track hubs. Full bearing swap plus I wet and dried any pitting in the races, run smooth as silk. Very pleased with it but still need to do a few more changes. Bars and seatpost mainly.

Hey PirO. whats the condition of the rear rim as, from the pic, it looks like the front rim has brake wear (even though there is no breaking surface). Can you also let us know how many holes the rims are? ta.

Yeah. They blast, degrease and it costs about 40-50 quid per frame. No sparkly finishes but all your favourite colours in gloss and matt! I'll get the photos up when I get home. Un fortunately no close ups but it is a good finish. Going back in a couple of weeks to get some more done if you're interested..

Yeah. Just wondering how the tyre sits in a wider rim.

Has anyone on here got the H+son TB14 rims yet. If anyone has any photos of them with the tyres on I'd like to see them. How does the tyre look on the rim? What with the rims being 23mm wide.
