I had to report a taxi driver to the police on Friday, he deliberately drove at me.
Because nobody was injured and no damage caused the police would not attend.
I saw him stuck in traffic a few mins later and wished that I hadn't reported it to the police as they had my name, address etc. I could have got away with smashing up the taxi / driver and ridden off into the sunset. All seems a bit strange though. If someone was waving a gun around then the police would attend - however you can kill someone with a car, but obviously this is not a priority for them.
Sure this has all been raised on here before though.....
even though it is a taxi and they can pinpoint exactly who it is there is no action taken?!
I am not well acquainted with rules of the road here but that just seems obviously wrong.

That quite alright.
I did not realise that it was so difficult so change the address from www.google.com to www.google.co.uk in the address bar when using a mac.
ha-d-ha.
As stated it resets itself to .com so, as also stated, all my search results still come up in usd -

I was actually about to post a question regarding helmets, and thought someone had beaten me to it. I will just put it here though.
what sort of helmets do you all wear? (those that wear them that is.) I haven't worn one for years but after my accident think it is probably a good idea. any advice that doesn't include the ones mentioned here?

It was mentioned over a year ago in various posts but once the masses get hold of it and some silly twat gets killed cos he/she can't stop properly the govt. will try and ban fixedgear bikes - or atleast make everyone have a convensional brake on it
there are a lot of places around the world that demand at least one brake. but get a good lawyer and most of the time you can claim you legs as breaks ha

Not going to lie I hated riding fixed gear when I actually got my first bike and started riding it a lot. But one day something just clicks. I didn't have a choice it was my only form on transportation so I kept riding and one day just felt like I could ride forever. And the getting your left foot in will get easier with practice. i was that person without them for ages just because I couldn't get the hang of it. And Hills become fun, again with a bit of practice.

Just take it to them and see what they say. Ask them basically the same thing, should you go on to a frame builders or can they help you out.
sorry about that btw. hopefully you got his info.
