probably my dodgy measuring skills late last night .. will check using the above guide later. Just looked at the croce d'aune info online and the shape of the drive side does look v similar .. as does the outer chain ring shape .. but in a prototype .. yeas there is a god!

came with a cineli lugged and stamped reynolds 653 frame . sadly without the royce BB it was badged with .. double chainset the inner 39 of which of which was inscribed with 135 .. although when i measured centre of bolt to bolt it measured 130 .. and sorry folks more an advice seek at this time as i hope and pray that the gods have shone on me at last.. but your dibs interest is noted...

got a pair of cranks recently .. lovely looking bits of kit but i cant identify them 170 arms 130 bcd .. believe that there from circa 1984 and off a top end machine. has anyone seen their like before... any info welcome

I'm clearly no expert .. but am most capable of naivity on the classified forum, so would suggest an agreed (and brief) protocol and guidence for sellers / buyers repeats on the forum above the e-bay craigs listing. What it should include others are best able to suggest

all reasonable, and fair comments .. and yep my comment is born in the main from a fustration as I thought I had "reserved" the item only to find out a sale had apparrently already occourred .. something which might reflect a lack of transparancy in the listing and sale processes.. and which might be avoided... I honestly never knew that a listing was not a committement to selling through the forum and that you might sell it elsewhere..an ignorence of my own responsibility I guess and i cant fault the individual concerned but if you plan to sell something to a friend who has your number / txt why bother listing it at the same time .. let your mates know privately at a social event, and open it to others via the classifieds forum if its remains available .... would avoid such disappointment and fustration .. but hey ho ...as you say VAD I'll get over it and plan a more a lean and hungry approach to the forum hereafter..
