i think some manufacturers have been victims of there own success, now loosing money because they have nothing to sell. Giant's Defy and TCR bikes got glowing review and sold out of popular sizes in June before the majority of "summer" riders even dusted off their bikes out of the shed.

I work in a shop that sells bikes and that and I can confirm we are running out of bikes. Giant road bikes are pretty much all sold out...

It's not all because of cycling being more popular, some manufacturers have limited there numbers to perposely run out before the end of the season. This is to try and banish the whole discount culture that devalues many models. Why buy a 2010 in september when there are about 50 bikes at Evans with £200 off
