ODI Longneck is the Worlds best grip and it does have a flange.
You boys...

Nothing wrong with flangless grips from a practical point of view but aesthetically they are a fail imo. Longnecks are probably one of the better looking grips in BMX but I don't find em all that nice to ride. Federal Thick Grips ftw.

I'm normally skint. I just kept my eye out for parts that were on sale for about six months, slowly building up the groupset. Found a great pair of wheels (Mavic CXP33 on Hope hubs) on BikeRadar cheap, bought a few bits on here too.
The frame is from Donhou. He prices jobs up individually, but you could always see what he charges, might be more reasonable than you think.
I was meaning the frame more than anything but the whole build is well tidy.
I'm currently funding the restoration of my Ford Capri, a fixed gear build for the missus, paying off my Langster (the shame) and I'd like to rebuild my Major Nichols for summer which I stripped last year to pay for an engagement ring. A custom frame is going to have to wait :( or I may have to reassess my priorities :)

I think of it differently to this.
Porn is not about practicality or even about a relationship, it is about a quick cheap thrill. I imagine actually going out with a pornstar would be a nightmare. In the same way living with most of the bikes in porn would be a nightmare, massive ratios, no brakes etc.
What you (Ed) are doing is like posting up a picture of a "would like to meet" ad for a girl you could marry. This is not about long term commitment, this is porn!!!
I know what you're saying but if I'm honest, when it comes to porn, I think sometimes the girl next door look can be a winner.
Half a foot of stem stackers tho is a bit like a big hairy minge wrecking the whole thing. :)

Just picked up a 50cm Sirius frame for the missus in Reynolds 653. Still trying to research as to whether it is any good or not but for £20 notes I reckon it'll do.
Also just got my new commuting bike. Wanted to get something half decent on the ride to work scheme, with some gears n that but once I'd read all the terms and conditions, it looked a well iffy. Short on cash and needing something that can get filthy without me getting upset about it, I've ended up with a 2010 Langster. Does this make me a bad person?

I'm a big fan of low profile rims. My wheels are currently on my work in progress track project. Eventually this bike will have 50mm rims but that's for aerodynamics and not so much for aesthetics.

Depends on the the bike. The general rule would be deep section for fat tubed bike, low profile for skinny tubed bike.
That Cervelo is the exception that proves the rule, as is this...

Even though I like both of these, if they were mine, I'd swap the wheels.

Whaaa, that looks rad. Wasn't 100% sure I'd made the right choice with the tyres but that looks awesome. Realy like the black saddle and bar tape too. Don't think I'll be riding it in jeans much but I'll be riding it in some pretty miserable conditions so I reckon the black's a winner for that too. Cheers for the photoshoppin, it's got me well inspired now. Too bad I have to wait a month to get the bike now.
