Why so unfriendly? Just surprised so many still calling it the Uefa cup. It's 'The Europa League' now dontcha know? Something we'll know more about next season I would think. Man City or Liverpool should win the Europa this season. I'm surprised 14 winters is so confident that Spurs will get fourth place ahead of City. Although City have been dropping points and look a bit shaky, I have to say that Spurs were lucky to beat Liverpool, Fulham (in the prem), Blackburn and Bolton. I hope that we can raise our game in the second half of the season and that Harry's tactics evolve further than his 'relying on brilliant individual performances to get us out of the shit, then taking the credit for it' style of management.

You can rant all you like about 5 European Cups and 18 League titles, but I'd argue that Arsenal are in a far stronger position to thrive in the future than Liverpool so I'd expect Arsenal to win more in the coming seasons. Arsenal have a new, modern stadium, which was built with money generated by the club and is close to being paid for, have consistently qualified for the CL and generate more income than all other English clubs bar United (who are sat on debts in excess of £800 million). I'd take our future over yours any day.

Andy is correct. In ten years time, in financial terms, Arsenal will be the strongest team in Europe :-(

Tell ya, I'm not one for effects normally, but picked up an Electro-Harmonix Pulsar Tremolo pedal the other day, and it does that Spacemen 3 trem effect thing soooo well - like this:

I worked with Pete a few times and the tremolo was from his Vox teardrop semi guitar, not from a pedal, it has a lovely slow attack and release, making it very pleasing to the ear. You could listen to it for hours!......

Maybe I missed it but what should have been done? I've seen posts saying phone the police but reading through the thread it didn't seem that would have helped in this situation i.e. opportunist sale where the thief would have fucked off sharpish.

My thoughts are as follows but would be good to see how others think the best way to handle this is. In other words try and provide advice rather than criticism.

At our antenatal classes (NCT) 7 years ago the hippy lady tutor made us draw a pie chart of how we spent a typical Saturday. She was a tad surprised by how much of my Saturday pie was shaded in one colour - football. 'Why do you need eight hours to go and see a London team when you live in London?' - 'Why do you need to watch MOTD when you've already seen the game?' Then she made me push a plastic baby through a home made knitted replica of a womb.

Darren Bent for 18 mill is the best joke all year. I watched him for two years at Spurs and wanted to like him, but he is woefull. He can score if the ball is placed in front of him and he only has the keeper to beat, but he can't play with his back to goal and he can't create. Bet the Mackems don't like him so much now he's put in a transfer request. Gian is far better and classier anyway.
