Got untill tomorrow around 11am to decide colour. Mario Vaz will spray it.

I retract everything. Just spoke with Mario on the phone. He rang me back. Super chap. I will go there tomorrow and drop off frame and forks. Around 100 quid for steel frame inc carbon forks. Around 80 gbp for steel and steel forks (for metallic finish).

I would. But it's a 1.5 hour travel each direction, I would be furious to go down there and leave empty handed. How can people not see that bad communication is bad for biz?? He most be making enough money as is.

How much would a metallic/sparkly on color spray cost? Just steel frame and carbon forks, no decals or anything special... Can't get hold of the man.

I have had 4 Konas. All 27.0. Most plain gauge chromoly 4130 steel mtbs are either 27.0 or 30.0 I think.

Just had a chat with Armourtex. They can't promise that fork and frame can be matched. They want to wet spray forks but powder coat frame. I will go there tomorrow and see what can be done. Any suggestions to alternative paint jobs are welcome.

Group set has arrived. Cranks fit fine and everything seems perfect, except for the fact that the front mech braze on is a little off center and I can see now that I generally was in a hurry. Filing and brazing is not as nice I have previously done it. A bit ashamed of having to show @coldharbour my work tomorrow ;-) Hopefully paint will cover it.

True, my photoshop is a bit off. It is trally hard getting the metallic colours right. Sunlight also makes it look better for sure.
