Thanks for all the replies. Still not quite found what I'm looking for. Hopefully come and see the Sierra @billygoat28 if I can make it down your way.
I welcome any more steel frames that people are selling.
Cheers

Was gonna swap the wheels on to my new bike but they are not 11 spd compatible.
I am now selling the bike with Fulcrum racing 5 wheels (2013 I think). In good condition with hardly any wear to braking surface.
A couple of bladed spokes have been replace with regular spokes along the way. Solid wheels.£440 with fizik aliante saddle and some new double sided spd pedals.

Hi there,
Looking to replace my everyday bike that has a flared head-tube.
Nothing fancy. Steel preferably. Anything between 56-57cm top tube considered.
Also open to trading a 57cm BMC Streetracer Sr 01 frameset I have: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/307961/#comment13754936. Photos to come.
Can include parts...
Cheers.

Hi there,
I am selling a couple of bits. Will update when I add more.
Fizik Aliante Gamma K:IUM Saddle - Good condition apart from small nick as shown in pic - £30.
Dura-ace crankset w/ 48t NJS ring. Original seller said they had been converted from a double but I have had a good look at them and don't think there is a notch to sit a second chainring. Therefore, I think they are actually pista cranks. Could be wrong though. Quite marked, teeth worn. - £30
Gipiemme Special Pista pedals. Well used. Dust caps heavily marked. Bearings are good and spin freely. One pedal very slightly bent as seen in pic. - £30
Pick-up E5 or SE15.
Would rather not post.
Cheers,
Steven

Everything is new but the frame. It's an old steel 80's tourer. Maybe the hanger needs looked at again.
Cables are new @Dogtemple
Is play in a freehub normal or not?

Hi mate. Thanks for your response.
It's very inconsistent. When I have it in the stand sometimes it feels like it is dialled in only to start hesitating when I try and shift from smallest cog up again. Then with a little adjustment it shifts fine then all of a sudden hesitates on the way back down.
As I say, really inconsistent. Not shifting like a brand new groupset should.
Hangar? Freehub play? What you suggest?

Just had a bike shop put a new 105 groupset on an old steel frame. It isn't shifting very well. Seems there is a bit of play/wobble in the freehub. The cassette moves a few mm when lockring is fully tightened.
I've searched online for some answers and it seems some people say play on a freehub is normal. Others say it shouldn't have any play at all.
Any opinions on this?
Other opinions about why it's not shifting right (from various bike shops and friends);
Hanger is very slightly bent/twisted (one bike shop mentioned this and used a tool to check/straighten it. Didnt make any difference.)
The little silver end cap at the rear derailleur braze on cable stop is too big and causing issues when the cable pulls through. (Changed this to one that fits better and with no play. Didnt make any difference.
Cable routing at rear is too 'aggressive'. (This was done by the bike shop. Looks fine to me but I have tried a larger loop and also cable-tieing a different route as suggested by a bike shop)
Cable are being restricted under bar tape or where they enter the shifters. (Undid all the bar tape and checked. Seems fine.
Any input/advice greatly appreciated.

Hi James,
Thanks for your advice. I have been to Rebecca's class before. I really enjoyed it but find it difficult to commit to 6 week block bookings due to work (she does not offer a drop-in service AFAIK).
I understand about learning bad habits but would be keen to follow some videos of some stretches that may help me get over my discomfort on the bike. I have been doing back bridges and some other things for my glutes as recommended by the bike fitter.
Hopefully I can get back to Rebecca's classes at some point. I will look into the Iyengar Centre.
Cheers!
