There's no problems to solve in bicycle mechanics. You go by the book and follow a set prescription to fix bikes. This is not the creative arts, nor is it rocket science.

The police aren't in the business of pocketing funds. They are a public service. Funds recovered from auctions etc go back into the system.

I'd rest more easily if I knew my bike was taking part in a police auction. Once you've had yours stolen it's like sending it into the ether.

We're all guilty of that. You're too hard on yourself. It's a tall order babying one's bike all the time. Clearly they will and do take anything. The risk of penalty for the activities of thieves is far too low. Cops don't want to know. This has to stop.

I have one from a Keeper model. New and unused. IDK if it fits other Kryptonites too. You can have for £5 + £3 post.
