Buono is good for gas & induction (I've got induction and no issues here), Stagg looks to be good for gas but not induction (at least going by the description here: https://fellowproducts.com/products/stagg/)

I realise we're talking small samples sizes here, but I've had the Buono (not painted) for a good few years and no drips from mine. No experience with the Stagg though.
Are you going to be going from hot water dispenser, to kettle, to V60? Might be worth checking if you'll be losing too much temperature when doing that (no idea on the magnitude of the effect to be honest, I heat mine on a hob)

Yeah the on-track action was decent enough IMO. Most of that was due to the lack of field spread. Guessing that was largely a combo of not much high speed corners and low aero dependancy meaning the cars could follow close enough to continuously catch back up on the straights.
I can definitely see it being just like Baku, with a few great races but also some years that are just a complete snoozefest.
Not sure whether I want more or less of this sort of crap though:

Just picked up a Clever Dripper, any top tips?
What's the standard procedure for cleaning? So far I've just been brushing and rinsing it in the sink. Multiple disassemblies/reassemblies per day probably won't be good for it's longevity.
Also took a few attempts to get rid of the muscle memory of popping the coffee in first after 1000s of V60s.

Haven't got around to checking that out, will pop it on the list!
Listening to Vowles chatting, whether it's about the inclusion of a new team, or his chats over the radio with the drivers, it's a guy I'd love to have as a boss!
Also, Red Bull outsourcing their strategy to Ferrari in quali? That was a pretty obviously risky move to pull Perez in on a brand new track that's quickly ramping up.
-
I don't get many things to celebrate about as a Ferrari fan, but it's great to have a team principal who's not afraid to call out bullshit questions:

Toto by contrast, sounds like he's got some stake in this and wants it all to blow over without addressing the concerns:

Looking forward to watching the full thing and getting Vowles' opinion, could listen to that guy all day long

Yeah there was a Namco Arcade on the Southbank, never got to go to it myself and looks like it closed down just after COVID.
I remember getting a bus down to Dublin with a friend solely to go play on one of these:

That and the Battle Gear cabinets were always my go to. Need to have another look at running OutRun 2006 on my computer. Tried getting the PC version working with a wheel last year and it was a faff, might try a PS2 emulator instead (in fact, I'm fairly sure I've still got the PS2 disc kicking around somewhere so might just try that first!)

Nice! In the meantime I've installed OpenEmu on the laptop and dug out the Vita for some Ridge Racer Type 4 goodness (and will soon be doing the same for PSP + OutRun 2006!)
Though at this point I'm considering just sticking with the laptop as it's more convenient than another handheld (PSP, Vita, Switch & GameShell all kicking around here)

I'm definitely on the side of garlic prep importance here:

Bit disappointed it's not running on the Fox engine, but very excited regardless

Also I imagine a fair whack of that goes on the (occasionally stupidly expensive) equipment he buys and gives away to his supporters.
