On a serious note though, once the first team have been decided they can then judge some throw in games of the other players that still want to go.

i dont know what to say on this, i really really want to play, as others do. there is a 4 teams per city allocation. i dont see why we cant take 4. just becuase we're all not that good doesn't mean we shouldnt go and play.

theyll just be happy they are guaranteed to get through a few more rounds, if we dontt ake 4 how do they decide which cities get more?

i might not be as good as people from seattle or london but im pretty sure i want to play just as much!

i think if we cant submit 4 then lets not throw a team together but if there are 4 teams dieing to play then that is our allocation.

I hear you snoops, but the thing is there are so many good teams dying to go from London and if we rock up with 4 avaerage teams then it's a bit of a shitter for them considering the size of the tourney.

We would all love to play, no doubt, but even the organisers of the event have stressed that if the polo scene is relatively small and not up to scratch in your city then really 2 is the limit, albeit un-official limit. Although we can officially register 4, i think it would be bad sportsmanship on our behalf if we did more than 2.

For the EHBPC I think we should get loads of pratice in and then choose the best team or best players to form the best team.

We have space for 2 teams, so 6 players in total yeah? What if buy mid july we have 15 or more players all at an equally good standard? We'll have to have some kind of play off then...

Adam, if you're gonna shell out for new rims for polo go for at least 36h. Craig has 32's and his spokes got fucked last night! Wayne got his from blb. Complete deep v 36h front and back laced to standard forumlas. Delivered in 2 days!

On second thoughts Nes, I think you're right. We should limit it to 2 teams. But the only way it's going to be fair is to have play offs to see who plays in the tourney. I'll still paypal the money on saturday for one team, and if someone else can pay for the other team then we're all booked.

Then we can have the play off tourney mid july- giving everyone the chance to sort out teams and practice.

i reckon we should reserve 2 teams. if the whole of london are restricting themselves to only 4 teams then we need to be polite and follow suit and with our tiny city/polo scene i don't think we can justify sending more than 2.

I know it's hard because everyone wants to play but there will be throw in games and it can be fun to watch and people can be reserves too incase of illness etc. maybe we can book the two spots then have a tourney/throw in tourney to see which people should go..maybe closer the time to give people the chance to get in some practice and show their true colours!!!

Nah, 4 is fine i think. To be honest I don't even think we'll get 4 teams together to go. Only 4 people turned up last night, and over the last few weeks we've been lucky to get 3 on 3 in games!

Get some normal deep v's. My ones are 32h and have held up fine. Gonna get some 36's built up soon though. Been thinking about playing on my curiser but with 700 wheels rather than 26".
