Swiss Made by Allegro. Not so bad.
Oh you're right, I discounted it too quickly. It's still their cheap model, not the pro version. I dug into this a lot a while back. I seem to remember that the Allegro was considered a bit better than the Kessel which was a shade better then the Falcons. But all still gas pipe bikes. But it was a while back and info on Allegros was hard to find.
The Allegro pro version with super record and campag ends is quality though.

Gas Pipe bike. Just a slightly better european non-falcon one built by Kessel me thinks.
Avoid.

Guys I'm really sorry I didn't make it I'm sorry I didn't have a number to call you to let you know.
It was for a beautifully ironic reason. As I was coming through Bermondsey two twats cut each other up and slammed on their brakes. I had it covered until one of the idiot passengers jumped out of the car and I slammed into the door. I broke two spokes on my front wheel and bent a spoke on the wheel I had strapped to my back, the one I was going to use for the wheel building lesson!
It would be funnier if it didn't hurt so much. I scrubbed off most of my speed (thank god for dual pivot) but still was a heavy impact. Do keep my record of never having fallen off my bike. Don't keep my no accident record.
I'm a very friendly non-violent sort but I went absolutely mental. When you've got a 6'4" cyclist with a wheel strapped to his back going ape shit at you it wasn't that surprising that he agreed to reimburse me for the damage. So at least I got £30 in my pocket. Still wish it hadn't happened though.
